The Trixons  operated on the showband circuit,
Eric Wrixon, (Them and Thin Lizzy  The People  Eire Apparent,Gamblers  )

THE TRIXONS - 'Just Another Song'  was released on the
The RELEASE Label in October 1968
and went into the Irish top twenty the same month,
it was also released in America  on Columbia Records
and  went into Billboard top one hundred.
Band member Shay McCarthy wrote both sides of this single.
This track features a distorted / (Megaphone) Lennon-impersonating monotonal Vocal,
with a decidedly incongrous mid to up-tempo smooth yet punchy soul backing - Horns 'n' all.
