Pat Ely and the Rocky Tops.
Originally,  The Smokey Mountain Ramblers,formed by Des Kelly,
of the Capitol Showband, during the showband years
It included Pat Ely from Tipperary, now resident for many years near Grange in Co. Sligo,
and Tommy Higgins from Sligo who now heads up the Ticketmaster empire.
In the early 1970's Pat, along with local musicians Tommy Higgins
and Bernie Fallon, and fiddler George Kaye formed the Rocky Tops (and Smokies).
records including Delta Dawn and The Shores of Lough Bran.
