  The Dominoes, a showband that enjoyed considerable popularity during the early to mid-1960s
. This photo is from around 1962 and was taken at the entrance to Belleek Castle.
The Dominoes were managed by Tommy Murphy. However, in 1965, Paul Russell from Dublin,
who was a presenter with The Showband Show on Teilifis Eireann,
also became involved in the management and re-named them The Montrose Showband
Tommy Murphy was drummer with the Dominoes and Montrose.
He has presented regular Monday night and Saturday evening shows on
Mid-West Radio throughout the last decade
Frankie Brennanwas a guitar player and singer with the Clefonaires Showband
for some years and later joined the Montrose Showband that featured in the Showband Show on RTE.
