D.J. Curtin and the Kerry Blues
      Tralee County Kerry
D. J. Curtin sang big ballads in the style of Welsh superstar Tom Jones
            and found fame with his own band, the Kerry Blues,
         before joining Brendan Bowyer and the Big Eight in Las Vegas,
          first came to Waterford to join the Derek Joy Showband as saxaphone player.


Hits AImost Persuaded". Other hits for the Blues were "Hit Me On The Head", "Laura",
"Noreen Bawn", "My Elusive Dreams", "I'll Pretend" and " My Woman, My Wife".

Gleneagles Hotel , Killarney on the 10th January , 2003.
