The Show Band Show which began on Telefís
Éireann in June 1963,
featured Ireland's top stars and tapped into
the Show Band boom of the 1960s.
Broadcast in prime time, the show ran until
June 1966, and was, in its latter years,
presented by John Keogh, lead singer of The
Greenbeats.
