The Fairways Showband

Sandy Duskey
later fronted  The Fairways, some of whom joined
Larry Cunningham and  The Country Blue Boys.
She reverted to her married name Sandy Kelly and turned to country in mid 80's
The Fairways had several hits during this time under the management of
Mick Clerkin of Release Records -- Flippidy Flop, Yoko Ono, and Invisible Reilly

Gary Street, Gary Street, real name Joe Conway,.
“Gary was lead singer with the original Fairways Showband from Edenderry
“He came to Ballina in the early seventies and the new Fairways was formed.
He was a great front man with an amazing voice. He was also an extremely talented
song writer and while in Ballina he wrote and recorded several records with the band.
“Tuesday Child” and “Love’s a Burning Fire” to name just a few.
