His first band was the Atlantics,they
played a series of cover versions
emulating imported UK artists of the time,such
as the Shadows and Beatles.
He also played with The
Dreams Showband
It was Bell who played the lead guitar coda
on Thin Lizzy first big hit,
"Whiskey In The Jar".
Dave Coady also sang with The Atlantic
John Ryan joined the Atlantic Showband when
their lead singer,
Dave Coady, left(Walter
Lewis, Donie Collins, Real
McCoy, Big 8)

Lynn Ryan
Singer/songwriter Lynn Ryan released her first single ' I wont be
me' in March 2002
Lynn is no stranger to the world of music- she's been playing gigs
since she was seventeen.
She plays both lead guitar and piano and was greatly encouraged
by her parents
(John Ryan Lead singer and Rythmn Guitarist with The Atlantic Showband
and Linda Ryan).
