 The Philosophers were from Galway. Like Dublin's The Memories,
they specialized in vocal harmonies,but added some brass to make up the numbers
A later line-up was called Samba and The Philosophers
Samba and The Philosophers  Dave Cazabaun [Samba] went back to the daytime job -
med student in UCG. he did a trifle better there and is now a highly respected doc in Galway.
