Stan is still"gigging" in the
Galway area , and kindly gave me this photo
to scan.
Sitting at the front with the"Mike"
is Sean O,Dowd,who
went on to play with Lee Lynch and the Blue
Angels in London,
The Donie Collins
Showband, Limerick, Tommy Drennan and
the Top League,
Limerick, and eventually the Ding A Ling.

Kevin Woods of the Kevin Woods Showband.
That's the brother of Mic Woods(pointing in the top picture)
and Shane Woods (on Drums)
He emigrated to Canada and then New York in the late 1950's
where his New York version of the band played at the Yorkville
and later at the Towerview Ballroom and around the city.
A young Ian Gallagher taught him how to "Rock and Roll"
Kevin is alive and well and living in Woodlawn in the Bronx
