The Freedom Fighters Showband
were previously known as The Impact Showband.
Legend has it that The The Freedom Fighters recorded an album of Irish songs.
When they were asked if they wanted to do it for a percentage of sales,
they declined and did it for the session fee of £24  -  The album sold MILLIONS!
