Gerry Morgan was a member of the showband Deirdre & The Defenders in the 60s,
appearing on the British talent show Opportunity Knocks three times, once as a winner.
More recently Gary has performed in cabaret in Europe and America.
His son David is playing guitar in the band backing Dawn.
