He it is not your typical Irish singer, in fact he is a crooner,
with a clear jazz sensibility
A very fine voice deeply imbued with his Irish roots.
Ian is not only a guitarist, singer , but an all-around entertainer
who uses that personal touch to put a smile on the faces of his
audience.

His solo career began with his 1995 Carnegie Recital Hall
debut
in a sold-out salute to John McCormack
His recording, The Same Great Love Song, is dominated by his Irish
tenor repertoire,
and is thematically summed by his original title track.
He gave his Dublin debut at the National Concert Recital Hall
to critical acclaim and recently gave his Lincoln Center Debut at
Alice Tully Hall
with the famed Irish Folk Group, Cherish The Ladies.
He made his solo TV debut opening the NBC coverage of the
2002 St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and has made numerous appearances
as an Irish tenor and a classical tenor, including the West Virginia
Symphony
He is a frequent star as both a Classical and an Irish Tenor on
major cruise ships,
collaborating with such stars as the Metropolitan Opera’s Roberta
Peters
A budding composer as well, Brian makes his home in Manhattan,
where he has given concerts in numerous venues, including Lincoln
Center and Carnegie Hall,
Michael Kubala
Chicago marks Mr. Kubala's seventh Broadway show.
Prior to joining the Company of Chicago, he also appeared in the
Tony award winning production of Crazy For You,
where he also understudied the lead roles of Bobby Child and Lank
Hawkins.
Other Broadway Shows include Jerome Robbins. Broadway, Bob Fosse's
Dancin '.
Woman of the Year, Marilyn: An American Fable and A Broadway Musical.
Mr. Kubala starred as "Junior" in the National touring company of
On Your Toes {directed by George Abbott)
and he was nominated for a Carbonell award for his performance.
In addition, he played Louis and was standby for the title role
in the national tour of Pippin starring Ben Vereen.
He co-starred at Radio City Musical Hall's 50th Anniversary show,
ENCORE
and immediately following this, joined Liza Minnelli on her acclaimed
National and International tours.
Off-Broadway, he was featured in Double Feature
and Ann Reinking's Music Moves Me at the Joyce Theatre.
Mr. Kubala 's hectic schedule finds him wearing a variety
of different hats at the same time.
While performing nightly in Chicago, he has spent his days
directing and choreographing projects for television, theatre and
cruise lines.
T. V. appearances include "Married People,"
"David Letterman," PBS specials and the Tony Awards.
Michael is especially proud of his teaching for the University of
California Irvine,
the Meet the Artist series at Lincoln Center and New York OffStage
Song and Dance Seminars.

Paula Atherton

Paula Atherton was born and raised in New York.
She began singing and studying flute at the age of nine,
and added sax to her repertoire while in her teens.
Ms. Atherton has studied privately with prominent jazz players and
teachers such as
Bob Mintzer, (Bob Mintzer Big Band, Jaco Pastorius, the Yellow Jackets),
Lee Konitz, Sal Mosca, Liz Gorrill (Lennie Tristano), and Gerry
Janssen (Vocal Fitness Center).
Paula has toured various parts of the world, including Japan,
Monte Carlo, Portugal, Canada, and the U.S. Paula has toured Japan
four times,
Paula also had the honor of playing at the New York Ball
in Washington, D.C., for President Clinton’s Inauguration.

is fluent in modern and old-timey sounds and plays both acoustic
and electric steel guitar.
Mike is also a Vocalist and Rock and Roll Guitarist who performs
with several other groups throughout the metropolitan NY/NJ area.

Raised by an Irish mother and Polish father,
he inherently has his father’s last name but definitely has Irish

John Prestianni
Musical Director
John T. Prestianni has been a professional musician in
many capacities since 1991.
In addition to accompanying singers and dancers, John is a composer
and an arranger.
He just completed an original musical called The Vaudevillian with
writer/actor
Brian Henry currently being developed by Chelsea Rep.
He also recently released a CD called “Prestissimo”,
a compilation of original work and arrangements.
In 2000, John scored music for original choreography by Pascal Benichou,
which was
performed and reviewed favorably by Jennifer Dunning of the New
York Times
He has also been a fixture on the
Irish-American music scene in New York, playing with
the likes of Paddy Noonan, Red Hurley and Ian Gallagher.
